Totally fine! The "48 hours" or "one weekend" suggestion is the ideal scenario to avoid distraction, procrastination or overwhelm (especially for my fellow nuerodivergent friends who love to start new projects and love a bit of hyper focus) but you have 6 months access to all materials. We recommend it (and there's a free 30-day trial you can use), but you can complete most of Citrus with the free version. The main difference is access to premium images and templates and the ability to resize designs easily, but it's not required.

You'll need a free ChatGPT account to use the ai co-pilots throughout Citrus. The free version is totally fine for this course. You'll be replying to prompts pre-loaded, or copying and pasting our pre-written prompts, filling in your details, and getting guidance so you don't need to be an expert ai user at all. Don't let a paid ai subscription be a barrier to joining Citrus!

You'll need to use ChatGPT to use the ai co-pilots but once you're through the initial phase of development, you can easily have your Chat co-pilots create summaries and briefs that you can upload and use over in Claude if you prefer. I do prefer the Claude interface and voice so I do a lot of my copywriting over there.

Nope! That's something you can work towards. While professional brand photography is always worth investing in (and maybe that's your next step after this - that's why we've included our useful guide in the bonuses) it's not required for Citrus. You can use high-quality iPhone photos, stock images, or photos you already have. We teach you how to choose and edit images to increase colour harmony so your existing photos can look more cohesive with your new palette. Save the professional photoshoot for after your refresh when you know exactly what aesthetic you're going for.

The 48 hr. promise inside Citrus is designed for established businesses that need a refresh. So if you're pre-launch or don't have a website/brand presence yet, it may take you longer (as you'll be building your site, not 'refreshing' it). That said, Citrus is absolutely the right tool to help you figure out and craft your brand at the beginning of your journey!!

Well there is no 'right' or 'wrong' but this is exactly why we've included the ai co-pilots. You're not picking from infinite choices, and you're not doing it alone. You're working with a tool who understands your personality type and each archetype and can provide very helpful guidance. Plus, your co-pilot will check-in - you're co-creating. That said, no brand is set in stone forever. You can always refine later. The goal is to get 80% better this weekend, not to achieve absolute perfection. You'll be amazed what a difference 80% can make!

Absolutely. The Colour Brand® method works across all industries because it's based on psychology and human behaviour, not trends or specific sectors. We've used this system for everyone from dog trainers to keynote speakers to e-commerce to travel. The archetypes, personality types, and colour psychology are universal. Our co-pilots will help you apply them to your specific context.

If you can log into your website and click buttons, you can do this. Our website co-pilot is trained to help you work with the most common platforms (ex: Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Wix) but with the help of ChatGPT you should be able to figure out any little that hiccup that comes your way. Worst case? You make the strategic and brand decisions in Citrus and get support to implement the website rollout piece.

Choose ONE to focus on for the weekend. Trying to refresh multiple brands in 48 hours is a recipe for disaster. Pick the brand that will give you the biggest ROI (either the one making the most money or the one you want to grow). Once you've completed Citrus for one brand, you can go through the process again for your other businesses. You'll move much faster the second time... we'd love to see your 'before' and 'afters' for all of them!

Great! Citrus isn't about burning everything down, it's about refreshing what's not working while keeping what is. Maybe you love your logo but hate your colors. Or your messaging is solid but your website feels outdated. You get to decide what stays and what goes. The frameworks help you evaluate what's working and what needs to change... but do try to let go of anything that's clearly not serving you anymore (even though I know it can be hard as we get so attached!!)

Yes! In fact, having support can make implementation even faster. Your Brand Board becomes the reference guide your team uses to maintain consistency. This is a great step in being able to delegate brand-related tasks while maintaining consistency and personality. Just make sure you go through the decision-making process and are the one who defines the personality / positioning, so your brand reflects your vision.
